I have added a new tap to the site which features a line following robot. Made in LEGO but programmed in C and a custom circuit using a PICKit 16F690. Check it out!
All images are optimized for the web so it should be fast to load. In addition all the images can be found in full scale under Photos.

WTF... When i opened iTunes i got this error. Never saw that before. Since iTunes is free how the hell is it possible for it to expire =(

After a bit of research i found out that it was because of a beta version, which is expiring. So how on with the update... but it has to be done manually =S

A couple of days ago we had the first snow of the winter. It is really not much but yesterday it started snowing again.

I was on my way home from work and it was snowing like crazy. As a bonus I had to wait for the bus for 20 minutes... Hate the public transportation. Anyway today when I got up, at 9am (oh yeah!), there is a massive amount of snow outside! I checked the thermometer and it was below freezing which means that it will probably stay for some time. Now we just need A LOT more so I can't go to school.  

I had some problems with my iPhone 3G today. For a long time, since the release of iOS 3 I have had my iPhone jailbroken and used version 3.x.x it has been running slow and not really been optimal but with all the short keys and cool apps I have lived with it. A couple if months ago I installed android as a dual boot on my iPhone and it has been fun to play around with.
But I am sure that all those modification have caused some problems with my iPhone. The last month it has been crashing 5-10 times a day without cause. Sometimes I could go to bed and in the morning find out that my iPhone had crashes during the night.
I have though of updating it to 4.2, since I am developer I have had the opportunity for a couple of months now. It should supposedly run a lot faster then iOS 3 and it has some cool new features too. My main concern was that I would loose my jailbreak.

So today during my English lessons my iPhone bricked. Or as you might say; got stuck in restarting mode. Every time it tried to start up it crashed and restarted. I tried to boot to android and that worked great but iOS would not start. So after a lot of trouble getting it in DFU mode (with dual boot it is not that easy) I finally got iTunes to restore it and updating it to 4.2.1. I am now running iOS 4 without any problems and it is really fast. I have not jailbroken it, yet, as I want to see how it is without jailbreak. Hope i can live without it ;)

The first snow this year came this morning =D or technically it came in January but this is the first this winter or what ever we can call it =P


It started with just a few flakes but got pretty crazy during the day.
I was supposed to go to a LAN party at my friends house tonight but on my way to school i crashed my bike and injured my arm... It is all stiff now and it is not really useful to lift a computer or any other object. The only time i does not hurt is when i am typing on my keyboard. Which is good, at lease i can use the day to write on my NaNo.

November is halfway over and that means NaNoWriMo is also halfway over. For those who dont know what NaNoWriMo (short NaNo) is, let me explain it. Really short it is about writing a 50.000 word novel in 30 days, from Nov. 1st to 30th. So far it is going good. I am at 32k words and writing about 1.7k each day.

As you can see the blog site now looks quite different. I have got a new design and I hope that this time I will be using, means updating, the site more.

A lot of the post from my old site is worth having on this too, so I will be transferring some of them. The migration can take some time, so if you are in need of my photoshop tutorials then let me know and I will hurry and upload them fast. If not it will take some time.

This is my first iPhone SDK tutorial. We are gonna use Interface Builder and Xcode today. This tutorial shows how to make a program with a button, and when you press it, it shows a text. Easy? try it out. More will come later, hope you enjoy :) Read More...
